Went to a child's 4th birthday party there. Hall was clean and bright. High ceilings for a bouncy castle, also had outdoor space with grass for kids to get some fresh air. Plenty of parking. It is a bit of a drive into the lanes but a lovely village hall.

I booked Broadhempston Village Hall for my 40th birthday party. The communication prior to the event was great and Andrea was helpful meeting me there beforehand so I could have a look around. We used both the stage for a band and the ceiling drapes with lights which enhanced the space especially when it became darker and added to the atmosphere. The kitchen was well equipped and all the equipment was easy to use. The serving hatch was brilliant for serving the food. The outdoor space was fantastic for the children to play outside and for guests wishing to have a quieter conversation! Many guests commented on the village hall and what a great looking hall it was both outside and in. We would definitely recommend it.

This is a fantastic Village Hall - clean, light, airy spaces. The Main Hall accommodated the bouncy castle we hired for the birthday party with no problem at all. The booking process and Village Hall team were all super friendly and easy to deal with. I would recommend anyone looking for a large space to book with confidence.

This a fantastic hall to hire for an event. We held our wedding party here and hired the whole building with the staging in the hall and their lovely chiffon and fairy light drapes which make it look less like a sports hall. The main hall happily held just under 100 people for a barn dance, the smaller hall with its mini kitchen was perfect for the buffet and we used the large, well equipped kitchen for drinks. One of the side rooms was great as a quiet room and we showed our wedding video on the TV screen in there. The outdoor space was really useful with the bouncy castle on the grass and the rest of the grass and large paved area for people to mingle. There are ample chairs and tables available and the whole place is modern, clean and well-presented. Booking was easy and prices very reasonable. All our guests commented on what a great facility it is. The only downside is a slightly low number of parking spaces for the size of the venue, and a lack of signage for finding it in the village. However, we put a large balloon at the entrance road, and everyone found it easily enough! Highly recommended as a event venue.
